Sen. Cory Booker would invest $3 trillion dollars by 2030 to fund a transition to a 100 percent carbon neutral economy by 2045 if he is elected president, based on a plan unveiled Tuesday.

His plan includes a $400 billion community-based investment across the U.S. to research clean energy technologies and solutions.

It also proposes a $100 billion investment by 2030 through existing U.S. Department of Agriculture conservation program to make farms more climate resilient.

  1. Compared to Bernie Sanders thirteen trillion dollar plan this is actually cheap.

Either way no need to worry about it. He’ll never be in the white house.

Long story why but I had to be at a Booker campaign event in Philadelphia a few weeks ago. (I certainly never would have gone there voluntarily…)Only about two hundred people showed up . Not a single prominent supporter among them. It ended an hour before it was supposed to.

  2. Where does he expect to get that kind of money from? The overburdened taxpayers? US Treasury Department? Jeff Bezos? All these politicians throw out wild ideas that even they admit will need trillions of dollars, but yet they never say where the money is going to come from.
