Following tonight’s election results, NYS Assemblyman-Elect Simcha Eichenstein sent a warm message of gratitude to the many people who turned out to vote for him.
“The campaign trail was tiring but simultaneously exhilarating,” said Eichenstein. “The most important part of the process was being given an opportunity to meet with so many people and learn what their issues and concerns are. These were vital conversations and I took them very seriously. Now that Election Day has come and gone, the real work begins—focusing on those issues and the matters of concern to our community.
“I am eager to get to Albany and get started. As I’ve said before, I believe the most important thing is for our community to have a seat at the table. In Albany, I will make sure that our issues are considered, that our values are respected, and that our culture and way of life are better understood. More, my door will always be open to my constituents who have issues and concerns to share. Together, we will accomplish great things.
“Thank you all, once again, for all of your encouragement and support. I promise to be there every single day for you, my constituents.”
