BORUCH DAYAN EMES: Reb Yosef Neiman z”l, Victim in Monsey Stabbing Attack

It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the petirah of R’ Yosef Neiman z”l, the 72-year-old victim of the infamous Chanukah stabbing attack that took place at the home of the Kosson-Forshay Rebbe earlier this year.

R’ Yosef, or Yossel as he was affectionately known, suffered several stab wounds and underwent several surgeries due to the attack and was in a coma ever since. The perpetrator was declared unfit to stand trial and was institutionalized.

R’ Yosel is remembered for his dedication to the charitable causes he collected for and supported, and his commitment to kedushas bais hamedrash.

R’ Yosef leaves behind seven children and several grandchildren.
