Elchonon Biton, a 16-year-old boy who was seriously hurt in the bombing in Yerushalayim last week, was released from Shaare Tzedek Medical Center on Sunday.
Bechasdei Hashem, his condition improved enough for him to be released. He had sustained several wounds due to shrapnel that penetrated his body during the explosion.
Elchonon was a friend of Aryeh Schupak Hy”d, who was killed in the attack.
“Elchonon had a difficult incident, but he came for treatment in a place with good personnel who provided care that helped him recover,” his family said in a statement. “We thank the dedicated doctors and nurses for their efforts.”
