Finally: Netanyahu, Gantz Sign Coalition Deal To Form ‘National Emergency Government’

Incumbent Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former IDF chief-of-staff Benny Gantz have signed a coalition deal to form a “national emergency government,” the Likud and Blue and White parties said in a joint statement on Monday.

After 484 days of an interim government headed, three consecutive elections and a global pandemic crisis which began some three months ago, the Jewish State could announce the formation of an elected coalition, spearheaded by Netanyahu and Gantz, later tonight.

According to outlet N12, the contention was solved by deciding that the vote on the committee members will be held after forming the government, with lawmaker Zvi Hauser sitting in the committee as a member from the opposition.
