Brooklyn Bridge Closed To Traffic Due To Suspicious Vehicle

The NYPD has shut down traffic in both directions on the Brooklyn Bridge due to a suspicious vehicle.

Police were searching an abandoned SUVwith no license plate located in the middle of the Manhattan-bound span. The pedestrian walkway was also shut down in both directions.

The Manhattan Bridge was jammed heading into Brooklyn around 6 p.m., according to WCBS 880′s Chris Maget.
