A troubling cache of items was discovered at the scene of today’s subway rampage, including a bag full of smoke bombs and fireworks, the NY Post reports. The snapshot above shows the plastic tote bag was filled with smoke bombs, “seismic wave” cracker fireworks, and a 25-shot firework bundle. The explosives appeared to be loosely arranged in the bag and not fused together or set to detonate.
Police recovered the fireworks along with a jammed Glock handgun, a hatchet, can of pepper spray, two gas canisters and a satchel holding what appears to be BB pellets, sources told The Post.
