An overwhelmed mailman stole over 17,000 pieces of mail hoarding them in his car, apartment and work locker, according to a Brooklyn federal complaint.
Authorities found 10,000 pieces of mail in his car, 1,000 in his work locker and another 6,000 at his home with the oldest piece of mail dating back to 2005, according to the complaint.
Germash was released on $25,000 bail and faces up to five years in prison if convicted.
