The gunman who unleashed a barrage of bullets on a crowded Brooklyn subway Tuesday morning was most likely acting alone, Mayor Eric Adams assured frightened New Yorkers this morning, the NY Post reports.
“There’s no evidence… that there was an accomplice,” Hizzoner said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “It appears he was acting alone. We’re asking New Yorkers to be vigilant.”
“At this time, based on preliminary investigation, we believe he was [acting] alone,” the mayor also told “Good Morning America” Wednesday.
