Brooklyn Yeshiva Employee Receives Threat

The New York Police Department on an alert for a man who made a threatening comment to a security guard of Campus Chomesh, one of the branches of the Bais Rivkah Jewish girls school in Crown Heights.

According to the NYPD, an African American male driving a silver SUV vehicle pulled up to the African American guard stationed at the school on Brooklyn and Lefferts Avenues.

The guard was helping students during dismissal when the driver displayed a firearm pointed at the guard and stated, “Why are you working for the Jews?”

The driver then drove away.

“We are treating the incident as a possible bias pending investigation,” the NYPD told COLlive.com.

Police also said they will provide extra police coverage at local Jewish schools following the incident.

  1. Big deal. We get threatened all the time by the different administrations that my children attend because we are behind in our tuition payments due to no fault of our own. Nu nu. What goes around comes around.
