Your iPhone is not bulletproof: Researchers say a newly discovered bug means the phone has a serious vulnerability to hostile wifi networks. According to Skycure Ltd., hackers can force IOS systems onto wireless networks, and then crash programs or even the whole operating system-creating what they call a “no-IOS zone.”
The Tel Aviv-based company says it’s not sure that the vulnerability has been exploited, and adds that the new IOS upgrade fixes some of the issues it discovered. Read more at Bloomberg.
