Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) spent a considerable amount of time during his questioning of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. — who is President Donald Trump’s pick for Health and Human Services Secretary — pushing him to condemn a specific baby product.
“I think the gist of what you were trying to say today is you’re really pro-vaccine. You want to ask questions, you have started a group called the Children’s Health Defense. You’re the originator,” Sanders began, before drawing attention to some of the items on the group’s website, including onesies with slogans such as “Unvaxxed Unafraid” and “No Vax. No Problem.”
Sanders made it clear he was deeply offended by the products and demanded that Kennedy renounce the onesies.
“They are selling what’s called onesies. These are little things, clothing for babies. One of them is… ‘Unvaxxed Unafraid.’ Next one — and they sold for 26 bucks a piece, by the way — next one is ‘No Vax. No Problem.’ They are coming before this committee, and you say you are pro-vaccine… and yet your organization is making money selling a child’s product to parents for 26 bucks, which cast fundamental doubt on the usefulness of vaccines,” Sanders said.
“Can you tell us now that you will — now that you are pro-vaccine — that you’re going to have your organization take these products off the market?” he demanded.
WATCH:
Kennedy responded by stating that he had no control over the organization, having resigned from its board several months prior. However, Sanders was firm in asserting that as the founder of the group, Kennedy had the authority to address the issue with the onesies.
“Are you supportive of this?” the senator pressed.
“I’ve had nothing to do — ” Kennedy began, but Sanders quickly interrupted, asking, “Are you supportive of these onesies?”
“I’m supportive of vaccines,” Kennedy answered.
“Are you supportive of these — this clothing, which is militantly anti-vaccine?” Sanders continued, causing Kennedy to chuckle.
“I am supportive of vaccines. I want good science,” Kennedy responded, before Sanders cut him off once more.
“You will not tell the organization you founded not to continue selling that product,” the senator concluded angrily.

Bernie Sanders is a whacko. There’s no other way to put it. He’s completely off the rails. He’s a complete idiot and the people that keep voting for him are idiots as well.
Given the amount of times politicians change their tune on their stand on things, I’m not sure Bernie is off here. Kennedy wants the position so he will take himself off an incriminating board. But he founded it. Why did he resign? Because the group went further with their line of thinking on vaccines or because it wouldn’t look good for him to still be a part of it because it’s too radical, but he really feels this way.
Bottom line, vaccines have saved many, many lives. We cannot go back to a time with no vaccines. It would be suicidal. Can the roll out of vaccines be slower, is it possible that the makeup of the vaccines have changed over years, maybe. But we can’t take them away, and we can’t allow people not to give the vaccine for the most deadly or dangerous diseases.
With so many dead or injured with neurological issues, cancer. strokes, 500% increase in heart attacks, blood clots and whatnot, because of vaccines, and you say vaccines saved many lives? Are you normal? Are you aware that autism has skyrocketed to 1 out of 36 children HASHEM YERACHEM!
Jab yourself with as many vaccines you want but let the world live.
RFK isn’t about to cancel the Polio vaccine. That’s not what the debate is about. The debate is about the amount of vaccines that are given today without any regard to real health related issues. Today a baby from conception to the 1 year mark, can receive dozens of vaccines. Including in this list are shots for covid and the flu. Some given in utero. That is completely insane. The alphabet soup involved in the process don’t have our health interest in mind in the least. It’s a control and money issue for them.
Rfkjr is not saying no vaccines at all, he’s saying we should make sure these vaccines are safe, and that we shouldn’t pump chemicals into our babies without being very sure they’ll help more than harm.
And the “my body, my choice” democrats can’t prohibit people from not taking the vaccines.
Just wear your flimsy disposable mask properly and you should have nothing to worry about. Masks save lives.
I think Sanders won that exchange. It wasn’t bumbling at all.
He should answer, “pro vax, pro choice.”. Or, “my body, my vax.”. Everyone knows, and admits, that reaction to some vaccines exist and can have a negative effect on some. Everyone knows, and many agree, that vaccine schedules can, and should, be changed. Nobody should be forced to take a vaccine that has proven problematic, or which was not properly tested, or according to a crash course schedule.
