Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) strongly criticized Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu’s government during an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union.” Sanders expressed his desire for Israel to replace Netanyahu as their leader, stating, “This is a horrendously complex issue. You got a right wing government in Israel, which is racist. And the people by the way, but the good news is last poll, I saw only 18 percent of the people of Israel want Netanyahu to stay in office. I hope they get rid of him. I hope they put in a government, which understands the severity of the crisis.”

Sanders has consistently advocated for the protection of civilians in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, the militant group that initiated a surprise attack on Israel on October 7, prompting Israel to declare war against the organization. He once again called for Israel to cease its airstrikes on Gaza, emphasizing the need to find a more humane way to address the threat posed by Hamas, which the United States officially designates as a terrorist organization.

Sanders stated, “But there got to be a better way than killing thousands of men, women and children. So once again, the immediate concern is you gotta have a pause in the bombing. You got to take care of immediate disaster,” Sanders said. He also said that Netanyahu’s government is “trying to make it impossible for a two-state solution” in the West Bank.

  1. ““But there got to be a better way than killing thousands of men, women and children.”
We’re all ears, Bernie the fool. Please tell us what better way exists when Hamas deliberately hides their headquarters under hospitals and schools in residential areas, refuses to provide protection to their civilians, and even murders Arab civilians who try to flee Hamas-headquartered areas.
I can just imagine Bernie the fool giving medical advice on fighting cancer: “It’s simple! Just kill all the cancer cells while leaving the healthy cells alone! What’s so difficult about that?”
