herman-cain-picturesHerman Cain lit up the crowd at the Values Voter Summit, where he directly took on the perception in some circles that he’s not entirely serious about winning the White House.

Per POLITICO’s Juana Summers, Cain told the crowd that he’s running to be president for this reason: “To be president! I’m not running to go to Disneyland!”

Cain, who released a new book this week, had a signing scheduled elsewhere at the Omni Shoreham hotel immediately following his speech. The crowd thrilled to his speech, with its prediction that America is ready to “raise some Cain.”

  1. He’s a mensch, more so than most of the other Repubs, and a lot more than the “front-runners”, so designated by the so-called mainstream media, which is no longer honest journalism.
He doesn’t owe anyone anything, so he is free to tell it like it is, as in calling the ‘Occupy Wall Street” rabble anti-American.
As for Sarah Palin, she made a wise choice: she is not “seeking” the nomination, and remains able to blast apart the Obama conspiracy, but if the Republican national convention becomes deadlocked, she could turn out to be their choice for a strong candidate who has already shown the us her talent and her array of weapons.
