Wildfires have burned more than two million acres in California this year, setting a new state record even as crews battled dozens of growing blazes in sweltering temperatures Monday that strained the electrical grid and threatened power outages for millions.
The most striking thing about the record is how early it was set, with the most dangerous part of the year ahead, said Lynne Tolmachoff, spokeswoman for the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, or Cal Fire.
The previous record was 1.96 million acres (793,184 hectares) burned in 2018. Cal Fire began keeping the records in 1987.

It shows scene after scene after scene after scene of several different fire struck locations where houses with all of their contents were totally vaporized and cars were turned into charred twisted metal shells.
YET, THE NUMEROUS TREES RIGHT NEXT TO THEM WERE COMPLETELY UNTOUCHED — NOT EVEN SLIGHTLY BURNED!!
How could that be????? A normal fire burns and chars everything in its path!! So, obviously, these were not normal fires; instead, they were some kind of pinpoint fire beams that were shot down at specific targets (the houses & cars) from some kind of man-made weapon machine. Furthermore, as not only the houses, but also ALL THE CONTENTS OF THE HOUSES were totally vaporized (there were no rubble remains at all, only thick layers of pulverized ash), this shows that those fire beams were of extremely, extremely abnormally high degrees of heat & intensity.
The bottom line is that these are man-made weaponized fires being purposely unleashed on the people with the obvious intent to, Chas V’halom, terrorize them, annihilate their property, and completely ruin them.
