Can Trump Still Run for Office or Be Elected Now That He’s Been Indicted?

Former President Donald Trump could run for the White House — even if he is convicted and sent to prison, the NY Post reports. Trump has been indicted by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg over hush-money payments and is expected to surrender in New York next week.

Trump becomes the first former president to face criminal proceedings — and possible incarceration.

“I hope Democrats like Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg are stupid enough to try to put President Trump in prison because it will guarantee his victory,” Mike Davis, an attorney and former chief counsel for nominations for Sen. Chuck Grassley, previously told The Post.

“There is no legal reason why he still couldn’t run and win the White House.”

  1. Yes, Donald can still run for office. But this is going to be tricky.

I wanted to give to a good candidate tonight and with Trump indicted, I can not cleverly support his campaign.

I gave a dollar to Vivek Ramaswamy. I am for him as this goes but he has a lot to do. Desantis is a no no and Nikki is obviously frowning it.

He may be a good choice. He was in fact from a Brahmin class which makes his politics sly. Seems to have a good family. Anti-woke seems simple. With his connections I see USA going up. Overall, britain has a hindu as its prime minister. Scotland stuffed us with a Pakistani. Maybe the new to immigrate is the new era.

Ramaswami is well in his own finances, his wife is a physician and he tends to dream with an educational closed group of best well prepared men and women.

New grades tonight. Politics drives justified homes and I hope his campaign materializes. I am not sure where he is on israel. That seems quite important.
