cape-may-whale-watchingDear Editor,

I am the owner of Cape May Whale Watcher. I am contacting Matzav.com to post an alert that I had a typo in several ads that I ran with various frum publications in New York and New Jersey. There are two typos on the advertisements and I would like these to be posted online so that folks are aware of the facts.

First, I posted that our whale and dolphin watching trips out of Cape May, NJ were only on April 10, 11, and 12. While we are running on these dates, we are also running on April 9, 2012.

The second typo is that the ad reads that the trip is $3.00 Each Adult. This is incorrect. This space is supposed to read $3.00 OFF Each Adult Ticket. The True Price for the tickets for whale and dolphin watching is $40 each adult, $25 for children age 7 to 12 years old and children age 6 and under get to ride free with each paid adult.

These typos are solely my mistake and I wanted to apologize for any misunderstanding.

We can be reached at (609)884-5445 for reservations or cancellations or online at capemaywhalewatcher.com or via email [email protected].

Happy Passover.

Thank you and we hope to see you aboard.

  1. Sounded too good to be true. At that price, we would have gone; at $40.00 per adult, we simply can’t afford it.
Happy Holidays to you too, Captain. See you when we win the lottery.
To all readers: As parents of a large family KAH, we have found that the best trips are the free ones. Take everyone to a park, take along a few balls, and enjoy. Price? $0. End Result: No kvetching, no complaining. Spending some quality time with your children is the best thing you can do for and for yourself.

  2. What a mentch!
BTW, I’ve done the trip – it is truly fascinating! And as an added bonus, there won’t be any tznius issues at this time of the year!

  3. Does not “wow” know that the expenses for yomim tovim are added to what we are allocated on Rosh Hashana? and seriously, would “wow” think 3$ is an appropriate price? What respect for people’s work! What eagerness towards supporting your fellow jews and their businesses! That’s not all! Why add garbage words? to drive away business from a mensch? (who rectified a genuine mistake, even though he could have conveniently “forgotten”) Why insinuate that the ticket is a waste of money? Why suggesting that “free” entertainment is more fun than these trips? If you don’t like them, don’t go. Your comment is totally uncalled for.
