A vehicle belonging to the division headquarters in the Rimonim Prison was damaged overnight by a bomb that exploded near it in Netanya.
The car belonged to an officer of the Israeli Prisons Service, a division commander in the Rimonim prison. Prison officials said they viewed the attack as a warning message, speculating it was an underworld threat.
The circumstances of the incident are being investigated by the police. The security services and the intelligence division of the IPS will also be examining the incident.
