President Donald Trump has decided to put all federal health agencies on hold until his Department of Health and Human Services Secretary nominee Robert F. Kennedy Jr. gets his confirmation hearing.

The Washington Post reported that dozens of current staffers have been instructed to halt all external communications, including health advisories, social media posts, publishing of scientific reports and website updates until RFK Jr. takes over.

Federal officials shared that the pause order would stop the flow of health data information from agencies as the Trump administration looks to remake departments to fit its policy views. One federal official who spoke to the paper slammed the administration as “disorganized” and not ready for the transition.

RFK Jr. has not yet secured a confirmation date. Read more.

  1. Trump’s sudden orders of communication blackout of the CDC, FDA, HHS, NIH, including publishing scientific reports, updating websites or issuing health advisories, was because he was made aware of their plans to sabotage him and to obstruct the nomination of RFK by issuing a health scare of something.
