Candida aurism, a rare and sometimes deadly fungal disease, is spreading through the U.S., the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) warned this week, citing a “dramatic” increase in cases, The Hill reports.

The fungus, which affects primarily old people and those with weakened immune systems, rejects treatments from traditional antifungal medications and has a mortality rate of up to 60 percent, health officials said.

There were at least 2,377 confirmed cases in the U.S. in 2022, according to CDC statistics. That total was a steep jump from the 1,474 cases in 2021 and continued a rapid increase from 2020, when there were just 757 confirmed cases. Health officials said that the fungus’s resistance to antifungal medication is “particularly concerning” because those medications are often the first option for treatment, saying it necessitates research into better protection and prevention measures against the fungus.

  1. We must go into complete lockdown again! This is no laughing matter. Lives are at stake. Haven’t we suffered enough from those evil rodfim?! Vinishmartem.

  2. Are they trying to push yet another vaccine on us? So tired of the alleged “health” authorities, who are unwilling to talk about dietary changes or alternative treatments, which often work better than Big Pharma.

    • The symptoms are in your head. If you trust the CDC you have this kind of fungus and need to immediately get the jab before you infect others.

  3. Quickly run and stand in line for the Pfizer shot or your next booster. The CDC and Big Pharma are going broke and bringing on funguses.

  4. Yes, all the anti vaxxers can come out of the woodwork again and blame the vaccine, they have a one track mind….
This is a fungus that has been source of concern for number of years, seen in patients who have weak immune systems, usually after spending long time in hospital or nursing homes. Many of us in the healthcare industry have been aware of this for a while and trying to keep it out of our facilities.
