Chacham Ovadiah Yosef continues to be hospitalized at Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center, where he is on a respirator after a pacemaker implantation failed and his kidneys have been only partially functioning. Yesterday he underwent dialysis.
This morning, at 6:30 a.m., Dr. Dan Gilon, a cardiologist treating Chacham Ovadiah, addressed a press conference to discuss the condition of Chacham Ovadiah.
“The night passed quietly for Chacham Ovadiah,” the doctor said. He added that “there are signs of some improvement, but overall I would say he is stable, and that certainly makes us happy.”
All are asked to continue davening for Rav Chaim Ovadiah Yosef ben Georgia.

Unfortunately, the hospital just said his condition is worsening. The Dr. said he’s in life-threatening danger, and some of his major organs are shutting down.
Keep davening!
