Chai Lifeline is mourning the passing of a victim of yesterday’s horrific attack in Jersey City, Moshe Hersh Deutch Hy”d, who was a dedicated Bike4Chai and Achim B’yachad – Chai Lifeline volunteer.
“Our thoughts and tefilos are with all those impacted by this senseless act of violence,” Chai Lifeline said in a statement.”
Project Chai, Chai Lifeline’s crisis intervention, trauma and bereavement department, is currently on the scene working closely with the local community. All in need are encouraged to contact the 24-hour crisis hotline at 855-3-CRISIS or email [email protected]. Professional counselors are on standby to offer assistance in English and Yiddish.
