The Eidah Hachareidis is stepping up the fight against government restrictions imposed on the proceedings in Meron. Over a thousand people demonstrated last night near Kikar Shabbos in Yerushalayim against restrictions on Lag Ba’omer events in two days.
The Eidah announced in recent weeks that they do not accept the restrictions imposed on Har Meron due to the disaster last year.
Police are preparing for the possibility of riots during the Lag Ba’omer celebration.
Yesterday, the commander of the Northern District Police referred to the intention of extremists to go on a rampage and said: “We identify the intention of certain groups to violate the Lag Ba’omer order. We will use a hard hand against those who come to harm and sabotage the revelry. He who does not have a ticket will not reach the mountain. The number of participants was approved by the engineer in order to prevent another disaster.”
Earlier, it was reported on Matzav.com that certain members of the chareidi community and the Satmar community petitioned the Supreme Court against the restrictions imposed on Har Meron. At the center of the petition are a number of legal claims, one of which is the legality of the restrictions on those staying on the mountain.
Petitioners claim that the distribution of the tickets was done in violation of the law, because they were sold even before the regulations were amended.
The protests should also be at the Israeli Embassy in NY with posters of the 45 murdered Jews in Meron by the Zionists last year.
Where does it say on the Torah that one must go to and dreizach arum in Meron on Lag baomer?
Look it up. If so many yidden are doing so, there must be good reason for doing so.
You mean like going to Orlando for Pesach?
How dare you compare going to Orlando to going to meron.
Where does it say on the torah that we should dance hakofos on simchas torah
The authorities are busy arresting Jews for wanting to go to Meron, while Arabs are threatening passengers on buses in Israel.

Israeli police are ugly, filthy brutes. Despise them.
