Two bochurim were found safe and sound after going missing for several hours near Katrina Falls in the Catskills.

Numerous volunteers took part in the successful search for the pair, who had gone on a hike before going missing.

  1. No one is saying it! But this is unacceptable behavior!!!!!

    Why are camps going on hikes in away that “BOYS GO MISSING“?

    How do boys end up in the water???? Did they get a pep talk about what to do, if one gets lost?
    Entering water?

    There should be some consequences for those responsible for this saga. Thanks to Hashem they were found alive.
    ONE YIDDISHER LIFE IS NOT WORTH ALL THE FUN OF HIKES.

    Hikes should be banned until they have some training on how to take hikes and all hikers must have the proper tools (GPS… etc.) and enough trained staff to make sure BOYS DON’T GET LOST!

  2. People underestimate the difficulties involved with hiking. People naively thing hiking is as easy as taking a walk around the corner. It is not. There are different grade levels.
