The officers were taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, police spokesman Tom Ahern wrote in a tweet.

  1. This is 100% biden’s fault, and he needs to be impeached over these relentless non-ending shootings. The sooner President Trump is restored to office, the sooner these horrendous number of shootings, shall abate.

I’m not clear if biden is doing a more horrendous job over Corona or over shootings, but is an abject failure on both fronts.

  2. According to the Chicago Tribune article quoted in this post, the officers were conducting a traffic stop when someone opened fire on them. The officers then returned fire.
As an ardent supporter of Joe Biden, I am outraged by the officers conduct. Clearly, the officers should have ducked rather than return fire at innocent motorists.
It’s time for Biden to put his money where his mouth and to start defunding the police now and to redirect that money to fund life-saving projects, like green energy projects and the war against climate change.

  3. The greatest threat facing this Nation is WHITE supremacy. This is yet another proof. When will VP, Mrs. Emhoff get serious with our whiteness problem? How many more innocent blacks must die before we start rounding up white folks?

  4. They should’ve sent social workers to diffuse the scene. Some cities have cut back on police officers and replaced them with social workers. I’m not sure if Chicago was not one of these cities or not but clearly they need more social workers and less cops on the street.
