A 2-year-old child who went missing from Section 4 of Nachalei Emunah Bungalow Colony Shabbos afternoon in Monticello was found almost 3 hours later, shortly before 8 p.m., with the help of Hatzolah, Shomrim, and Chaverim.
The child’s parents contacted Shomrim about 2 hours after they began looking for the child, and the child was found weeping in the woods by two women on a walk who heard a toddler crying.
Bechasdei Hashem, the child was safe and sound, none the worse for wear.
Parents are urged to keep a close eye on their young children at all times, especially in bungalow colonies, where toddlers tend to roam.
