China should “fully prepare itself for war” with Taiwan if the country resumes diplomatic ties with the United States, according to the editor-in-chief of China’s state-owned news tabloid the Global Times.
Hu Xijin wrote in an opinion piece on Tuesday that legislators in the Taiwanese Kuomintang Party, or KMT, “have woken up on the wrong side of the bed. They have gone downhill and become vulgar. They would do anything to just get rid of their political passivity on the island of Taiwan. They are losers.”
He adds, “We must no longer hold any more illusions. The only way forward is for the mainland to fully prepare itself for war and to give Taiwan secessionist forces a decisive punishment at any time. As the secessionist forces’ arrogance continues to swell, the historical turning point is getting closer.”

The truth is that the country of Taiwan, called the “Republic of China,” also known as “Nationalist China,” IS the true real country of China!! It was that Nationalist government that had ruled China until the late 1940’s when the Communist forces there made war on the Nationalist forces and by 1949, had conquered the continental mainland of the country. The Nationalist forces were thus forced to flee from the mainland, but they were able to escape to this large island of Formosa that is located several miles east of the mainland, where they re-established their government that has lasted to this day. They also still hold a couple of tiny islands located along the mainland coast.
Having stolen the mainland, the Communist forces established there their government called the “People’s Republic of China.” They are severely of severely or severely wicked people who, through these over seven decades of their rule, murdered horrendous masses of their fellow Chinese countrymen; estimates of the number of people killed run WELL OVER SIXTEY MILLION!! Also through these over seven decades, they have been furious that the Nationalists have been able to still exist in their little “corner” and have thus repeatedly threatened to attack and take over the island. This latest Chutzpa is simply the newest “installment” of their long line of dictatorial bullying.

General-of-the-Army Douglas MacArthur, United States Military Academy Class of 1902, one of only 4 5-Star Generals in US Army history, wanted to take-on the Chinese Communists right after the Korean War. Some suggest that General MacArthur actually wanted to use a nuclear weapon against the Chinese Communists. Hearing this, President Harry Truman recalled General MacArthur to Washington and fired him on the spot.
General MacArthur was correct. Truman was wrong.

BE’H, The story of the war was this.
PART 1.) In June 1950, the forces of (Communist) North Korea massively invaded (non-Communist, US allied) South Korea, obviously planning to unify — by aggressive brute force — the two Korea’s into one country UNDER THEIR COMMUNIST rule. At first, they were extremely successful as they quickly conquered ALMOST the entire south country. However, the small group of US forces that were there valiantly held out a small piece of the south’s land at the south eastern corner of the country. Then, General MacArthur, using brilliant military strategy, led a huge US (and a few other countries) force to counter-invade (the occupied south) from the upper west side of the country. They were very successful, as the North Korean forces who were occupying the south WERE NOW TRAPPED between MacArthur’s forces above them and the earlier US forces on the corner below them. The US & Allied forces thus quickly captured the occupying North Korean forces and completely liberated South Korea.

PART 2.) Having liberated south Korea, MacArthur continued to lead the US & Allied forces north into North Korea to DE-Communist it and restore the whole Korea to be one unified NON-Communist free country. At first, they were brilliantly successful as they advanced through almost the entire north; some troops actually reached the Yalu river at the top of the country, which forms the North Korean-Communist Chinese border.
However, the Communist Chinese were fiercely furious at this and thus sent extremely massive forces over their border into North Korea; these exceedingly huge numbers of Communist Chinese troops heavily overwhelmed the US & Allied troops and soon pushed them down out of the north and even a bit into the south.
General MacArthur very strongly felt that as the Communist Chinese had entered the fight, then we certainly should fully “take them on!!” He had many different ideas for how to do this. Included in these proposed plans were: to heavily hit Communist China with nuclear weapons, to have US & Allied forces invade that section of Communist China above North Korea, and to have the forces of Nationalist China (who were now in Taiwan) counter-invade the mainland (now held by the Communists) to liberate and retake the whole Chinese mainland.
However, President Truman adamantly refused to allow any of this. He would not even allow limited strikes from the air (with no soldiers on the ground) to hit the Chinese camps on the Chines side of the Yalu River from which the Chinese soldiers were launching their incursions down into Korea. The stated reason for this was that President Truman was afraid that if we were to start hitting Communist China in any way, then Communist RUSSIA would enter the fight to protect “its good friend” Communist China, and we would thus have the full feared conflagration of Worl War III.
General MacArthur though was very strong on his feelings and openly spoke about them, so President Truman fired him.
General MacArthur’s assistant, General Mathew Ridgeway, was made commander of the US-Allied command of the war. The war continued for over two more years; in 1953, a cease-fire was declared, but the war never “officially” ended.
