Chris Cuomo faced a double financial loss Tuesday when HarperCollins announced it would no longer be publishing his book and CNN said it would not pay him severance. HarperCollins had originally agreed to publish Cuomo’s book, Deep Denial, in fall of 2022, but a spokesperson for an imprint of the publishing house put it bluntly: “We do not intend to publish the book.”
The Wall Street Journal reports that CNN president Jeff Zucker informed employees Tuesday morning that the cable network would not pay out severance to the disgraced anchor, who was fired Saturday after documents revealed the extent to which he advised and assisted his brother Andrew Cuomo’s fight against allegations of misconduct. Chris himself also faces an allegation of harassment, according to a lawyer for the complainant. Both Cuomo brothers have denied allegations of misconduct. Read more at The Wall Street Journal.

Oh please, CNN knew all along that Chris was coordinating everything with Andrew. That is the reason they hired him in the first place. It was a win – win for the liberal CNN and the liberal Democrats. They get to help their favorite liberal governor in his aspirations to be president and the Cuomos help CNN with any scoop and all access they’ll ever need. This is a standard sweetheart arrangement that the left always do. The media promotes and covers for the politicians and then they get plenty of paybacks from them.
Now that Andrew Cuomo has no political future CNN has no need for Chris so the very conveniently throw him under the bus.

I love it when cancel culture comes back to bite the liberal elitists. It was originally created by them to get Republicans and Rino’s but it seems to have morphed into getting the very people who created it. I love it.
