Maureen Dowd, in a New York Times op-ed, questioned Christie about his thoughts on the concerns surrounding Biden’s age during his presidency.
President Biden, who at 80 is already the oldest person to hold the office, has faced criticism regarding his age and mental health, with many voters expressing concerns as he announced his reelection campaign in April. Christie, in response to Dowd’s query, remarked, “I think he’s beyond his sell-by date, and I think Trump is, too, by the way.” He also suggested that Biden’s family should allow him to retire gracefully, questioning their motivations.
“I think his family should let him go home,” Christie asserted. “Are they actually motivated by love for this guy, or is it motivated by the grift?”
Addressing Trump’s recent insults targeting him, specifically regarding his weight and calling him “Sloppy Chris Christie,” the former governor appeared unfazed. Christie shared, “I’m not going to say it never bothers me. Trump is no Adonis, so coming from him? Who cares? Look in the mirror. I always thought it was very funny that he has this vision of himself. He told me one time the reason he ties his ties so long is that it slenderizes him, and I should do the same thing.”
Christie, who announced his second presidential campaign at the beginning of June, is among a group of candidates vying to challenge Trump, the current frontrunner in the GOP primary race, and secure the party’s nomination in 2024. Additionally, Christie expressed his belief that Vice President Harris poses a challenge for Biden and will diminish his chances of being reelected. Drawing a comparison, he remarked, “I don’t think Dan Quayle hurt George Bush 41, but George Bush 41 wasn’t 82 years old.”

While Christie isn’t past his sell-by-date, he is long past his best-by-date.
If they will need to install someone again to keep the peace until the completion of the draining of the swamp, it’ll continue with the insane, demented Biden (actor). No reason for new scripts for other actors, like Christie, Desantes and Pence. Non-actors, real candidates, have no chance.
