Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) warned this week that support for the alliance between the United States and Israel is waning among younger people.

“We need a campaign aimed particularly at the young, using the media they care about and the language they use,” he said at the annual Israeli-American Council conference in Washington, D.C.

The senator also mentioned an increase in anti-Semitism in Europe being of significant concern.

“Everyone should fight anti-Semitism—not just the Jews. If we ignore it, it will grow,” he said. “The most important thing is to speak out loudly against it. Also, legislation is important, and there is new legislation against anyone who commits hate crimes.”

He continued, saying “the poison of Europe for millennia has been anti-Semitism. [What] we should all be doing as citizens, elected leaders, is speaking out against European anti-Semitism because Jewish people are afraid to live there,” he added. “So we can’t forget overseas anti-Semitism because when it grows in one place, it spreads to another.”

Other key speakers included House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi of California, who appeared on stage with Schumer, and Vice President Mike Pence. JNS.ORG

  1. If he’s referring to the newly elected representatives in Congress, they represent neither the young or the old or their constituency. They are just like you Chuck, a front-runner who goes the way the wind blows. When morons are allowed to go after school curriculums and yet cut art, music, history, literature, and critical thinking out – we get what we deserve.

  2. Hey Chuck, do you think your democratic party took over public schools and government-funded colleges, then proceeded to brainwash the new generation into hating Israel?!

  3. When push came to shove, when Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu came to Washington to beg for the rejection of the Iran deal that he believed would endanger the lives of millions of Jews, Senator Schumer declined to throw his weight behind the opposition. That will forever be Schumer’s legacy, not words and platitudes which are empty and worthless.

  4. So says the “Jew” who couldn’t put politics aside and attend the opening of the US embassy in Yerushalayim because he was invited by President Trump.
So says the man whose party removed Israel from its 2016 convention platform, walked out of Bibi’s speech to Congress, has anti-Semitic Muslim members, supports paragons like Farrakhan, loves Linda Sarsour, is on Soros’ payroll and has shoytas like Maxine W. and Ocasio-Cortez as members.
