CIA Director William Burns said in an interview with CBS on Shabbos that Iran’s uranium enrichment capacity has been steadily rising and will soon be able to reach a level of 90, Ynet reports.
“They’ve advanced very far to the point that it would only be a matter of weeks before they could enrich to 90% if they chose to cross that line, and also in terms of their missile systems, their ability to deliver a nuclear weapon once they develop it, has also been advancing as well,” Burns noted.
Oh please. Stop with the hyperbole. Democrats Cory Booker and Kirsten Gillabrand said that is a big lie. We must bend over to the Iranian regime and pump an additional $85 billion US tax dollars into the hands of the Mullahs.
When asked whether he was certain about his assessment that Iran, which has already produced uranium at 84% purity, will soon be able to enrich uranium at 90% purity level, Mr. Burns told reporters: “Right now, I’m 84% certain about that. But within the next few weeks, I’m 100% sure that I’ll be 90% certain about that.”
