City Councilman David Greenfield, chairman of the powerful Land Use Committee, won’t be running for re-election. Instead, Greenfield will become executive director at the Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty, a non profit organization, at the end of the year.
As part of the move, Greenfield is expected to tap his protégé, Kalman Yeger, to run for his seat, which Greenfield has already raised $855,342 for. Read more at NY Post.

you r correct. because he was elected in a special election and he was grandfathered into the three term rule, he would get three and a half terms instead of the usual two. he has ony served one full term.
How can anybody consider voting for someone like Yeger, who marched in a Toevah parade!
