Israeli forces clashed with locals in the Palestinian village near East Jerusalem on Monday as they attempted to evacuate and demolish four homes that were said to have been built without permits.
Several Palestinian residents and two municipal employees were said to have been injured amid the fighting, which broke out when police tried to remove individuals who had barricaded themselves in one home.
Haaretz reported that 10 people were wounded amid the operation.
