The Cleveland Clinic released a statement Monday after reports began circulating online that a doctor at the hospital had been posting anti-Semitic sentiments on social media.

Lara Kollab, 27, of Westlake, was a supervised resident at the Cleveland Clinic when she tweeted that she would give “all the yahoods (Jews) the wrong meds.”

Kollab is no longer employed at the clinic, but her medical license remains active.

“This individual was employed as a supervised resident at our hospital from July to September 2018,” a statement from the Clinic said. “She is no longer working at Cleveland Clinic. In no way do these beliefs reflect those of our organization. We fully embrace diversity, inclusion and a culture of safety and respect across our entire health system.”

  1. This has nothing to do with diversity and it goes far beyond antisemitism (which would be a derogatory attitude towards Jewish patients, but treating them properly). A doctor is is supposed to do his/her job as a doctor, and nothing less; let alone use her medical training for harmful purposes. This borders on premeditated harm, if not murder. How can we trust a system that grants such a person a medical licence? She should be immediately suspended and face criminal charges.

  2. Please post the email of the Ohio Medical License board to get her license rescinded so she could start washing dishes in a restaurant.

  3. It is a lot scarier to think that she probably isn’t alone but most people have the brains not to say everything they think online.

She had also been an anti-Israel activist for a while. While the left wing loves to say that anti-Israel activism isn’t motivated by anti-Semitism her behavior belies that point

  4. What kind of stupid person spends years in college, med school and residency and throws it all away just to post stupidity on social media? It defies all logic.

  5. This filthy swine seems to have forgotten that her professor is a Jew; the person who interviewed her where she worked for a very short time is a Jew, and her filthy relatives in the filth-infested lands of her origin are being flown to Israel to be treated – by Jews.
Oh, and the lawyer who will unfortunately help her fight the hospital she got fired from…yup, a Jew.
No “yahoods” need to go to her filthy kind.

  6. It just goes to show how they can’t be trusted! They snap at any moment! Actually, Rashi say it in Vayishlach when Eisav and Patriarch Jacob met.

  7. The iranian jewish doctor who finally pointed it out should get some merit for his brave actions. Apparently she has been writing these things since 2012 but because noone was brave enough she continued and continued to write these things…. I hope she looses her license.
