Clinton, Bush to Attend Trump Inauguration

Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton plan to attend Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony, despite earlier reports that both families might not attend. Until Tuesday, Jimmy Carter was the only former president to RSVP to the 58th presidential inauguration.

According to a statement released by Bush, he and former First Lady Laura Bush “are pleased to be able to witness the peaceful transfer of power—a hallmark of American democracy—and swearing-in of President Trump and Vice President Pence.” Clinton and his wife, former Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, will also reportedly attend, despite the ugly attacks against them leveled by Trump during the campaign, out of “respect for the peaceful transfer of power.” George W.H. 1. the clintons and the bushs should just stay home. no one needs them there. there has to be some sinister reason the clintons want to attend. i don’t trust them. “respect for the peaceful transfer of power”? give me a break….

  2. Is the Clinton couple, by their attendance, attempting to give the president-elect indigestion at the inaugural ball?
Can’t those two tickets, plus those for their security detail, be given to someone more decent and worthy?

  3. The Clintons are going because they are trying to gain favor so they can stay out of jail. They both belong in jail but Bill should be allowed a different jail then Hillary. Otherwise it would be cruel and inhumane.
