Hillary Clinton has hit back at conspiracy theories about her health being peddled by Donald Trump and his team, saying the rumors are nothing more than a “wacky strategy” from an “alternative reality.” Speaking on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Monday night, the Democratic presidential nominee said the health rumors were distracting from the real issues of the campaign.
Trump has repeatedly hinted that Clinton suffers from health issues, telling supporters that she is “not strong enough to be president” and “lacks the mental and physical stamina.” Other members of Trump’s team have fuelled bizarre health rumors, with spokesperson Katrina Pierson diagnosing Clinton with dysphasia. Clinton, who is more than a year younger than her rival, has denied all the claims. “I do feel sometimes like this campaign has entered into an alternative universe,” Clinton said Monday. “I have to step into the alternative reality and, you know, answer questions about, am I alive, how much longer will I be alive, and the like.” She noted that she never questions Trump’s health in the campaign, saying he’s “healthy as a horse.” READ MORE.
