I remember when we would hear his mellifluous tones for Daf Hashavua on WEVD on Motzoei Shabbos – לאמיר לערנען א בלאט גמרא (there are recordings of it online).
His daughter Rebbetzin Blau תליט”א wrote a whole book on his life.
