An online textbook that states Holocaust victims did not “tap into their strength” is required reading at the University of North Carolina (UNC).

The book, “21st Century Wellness,” is part of a one-credit hour Lifetime Fitness course all UNC undergraduates have to take before graduation. But along with handing out advice about leading a healthy lifestyle, the book contains an excerpt that says that Holocaust victims who died failed to find their inner strength, CNN reported Tuesday.

“The people in the camps who did not tap into the strength that comes from their intrinsic worth succumbed to the brutality to which they were subjected,” the book reads.

The text was contracted for use for two years, but it is currently under review for the fall, a school spokesman said.

  1. Shame Shame Shame! I wouldn’t want to see how those who promoted
this ridiculous theory, would endure much less discomfort in their own lives.
The astonishing thing is how did “ANY” survive, and Thank Heaven many did
to some (various) extent. I guess they weren’t taught
the idea of not judging anyone until you walk in their shoes

  2. Who are the bigoted author and editor? The author’s and editor’s names, place of employment and personal information should be publicized. If someone wrote something like that about blacks, mooslims or deviants, the author would be promptly fired and blacklisted for life.

  3. I would love tpx them say something about the blacks and slavery and c how much violence and how many lawsuits would follow these people are rotten to the core and should offer some of their wonderful survival tips to the deviant communities to help them overcome their insecurities

  4. “The people in the camps who did not tap into the strength that comes from their intrinsic worth succumbed to the brutality to which they were subjected”
Offensive, yes. But even more striking is the sheer, jaw-dropping stupidity of that psychobabble.
