jerrold-nadlerOn Erev Shabbos, Congressman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) commended the Boro Park Shomrim for their bravery in protecting the children and residents of Borough Park on Thursday night. Nadler issued the following statement:

“Yesterday, four volunteer members of the Boro Park Shomrim put their lives at risk to courageously pursue a perpetrator. These four heroes were unfortunately wounded in the process, but their bravery serves as an inspiration to the community they protect. I applaud Motty Perl, Motty Brauner, Joel Klein and Abe Kaztow for their selfless actions and wish them a speedy recovery. For nearly two decades, Boro Park Shomrim has served the community, forging a close relationship with the NYPD and building a grassroots organization through thousands of hours of volunteer work. I was glad to provide them with initial funding for equipment in the past, and it is important to continue to support their efforts.”

Nadler has served in Congress since 1992. He represents New York’s 8th Congressional District, which includes parts of Manhattan and Brooklyn.

  1. Jerry, it’s time for you to step down. You’ve served to long already. I’m sick of your constant attack on our holy Torah. With your pro hashchasa agenda pro abortion agenda, it would be better for an aino Yehudey to serve.
