Yidden across the globe continue to daven for Yehuda Nesanel ben Basha Baila, one of three bochurim who were in a car that was involved in an accident next the Lakewood/Brick, NJ, border on Friday morning. A female driver operating a Dodge Durango ran a red a light at the intersection of Route 70 and Chambers Bridge Road and slammed into the bochurim‘s vehicle, a Nissan Altima. The Altima flipped over several times before coming to a halt on grass nearby.
There were there bochurim in the vehicle. The driver sustained minor injuries and was released from the hospital on Friday. A second passenger, who was seated next to the driver, is in stable condition and underwent surgery at approximately 3 p.m. on Erev Shabbos to treat some internal bleeding. Shmuel Dov ben Malka Leah is said to be stable.
The third bochur, Yudi, who was most seriously hurt, underwent two surgeries on Friday and remains in critical but stable condition at the Intensive Care Unit at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, NJ. The 20-year-old bais medrash bochur remains sedated and is in need of everyone’s tefillos to ensure that his body responds positively to the surgeries. Yudi remains under the close watch of the physicians and nursing staff at Jersey Shore Medical Center.
All are asked to take on extra learning, chassodim and tefillos as zechusim for Yehuda Nesnael ben Basha Baila.
