rav-moshe-yitzchok-fisherAll are asked to continue saying Tehillim for Rav Moshe Yitzchok Fisher, rov of Khal Bais Yeshaya and rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Derech Hatalmud in Flatbush, who was hospitalized over one week ago due to a brain injury. He has not yet gained consciousness.

Earlier this week, the Flatbush community gathered at his bais medrash at the corner of Avenue I and East 22nd for an atzeres tefillah and divrei hisorerus. Neighborhood rabbonim, including Rav Yosef Frankel, Rav Shmuel Zev Friedman, Rav Bentzion Halberstam, Rav Pinchos Dovid Horowitz, and Rav Yitzchok Steinwurtzel were present and have urged their kehillos to continue davening.

All are asked to daven and say Tehillim for Rav Moshe Yitzchok ben Serel.

  1. I know Rabbi Fisher well, and have davened in his shul many times, as my grandparents davened there for many years. He is a huge talmud chacham, and a good, warm-hearted person who really cares for every person he meets. May he have a refuah sheleimah!

  2. I know Rabbi Fisher since he was a little boy. I knew his father. He was Rov of our shul in Bridgeport Conn. This is a shock to me. May he have a refuah shlaima bekorov.
