93-year-old former SS guard Bruno Dey in the concentration camp Stutthof near Danzig is sitting in the regional court in Hamburg, Germany, Oct.17, 2019. The prosecution accuses the 93-year-old man of aiding and abetting the murder of 5230 people. The defendant was only 17 or 18 years old at the time of the crime. A German court convicted Thursday a 93-year-old former Nazi death camp guard, handing him a suspended sentence of two years in jail.

Bruno Dey was found guilty of playing a role in the murder of 5,230 people as he worked in his teenage years as an SS tower guard at the Stutthof camp near what was then Danzig, now Gdansk, in Poland.
