Covid Condition of Rav Chaim Kanievsky Said to Worsen, But He is Feeling Good

The condition of Hagaon Rav Chaim Kanievsky is said to have worsened today, Hoshanah Rabbah, a week after he contracted the coronavirus.

Family members said that Rav Chaim experienced a fever spike and other symptoms overnight, and that his physician told them that Rav Chaim is now in a “second, more severe and critical phase of the illness.”

Nevertheless, Rav Chaim is said to be feeling good, and he is continuing his daily routine of continuous limud haTorah, with not an iota of change.
