Dr Pepper has announced the company is experiencing a shortage of its product to supply stores.

“We know it’s harder to find Dr Pepper these days,” Dr Pepper tweeted from its account on Monday. “We’re working on it – hang tight!”

The Dr. Pepper Twitter account added, “Having trouble finding your favorite Dr Pepper product? We’re doing everything we can to get it back in your hands. That means working with our distribution partners to keep our shelves stocked nationwide, while ensuring the safety of our employees.”

The company said it has a shortage of all Dr Pepper flavors and recommended reaching out to nearby retailers to ask if any of the soda is in supply. Despite the shortage, sales of Dr Pepper have gone up by 15%, according to an email from the company to the Today Show.

  1. Can’t we just hold our desires in? It’s not a life or death need it’s just a drink. There’s so many other amazing drinks and flavors that Hashem created for us to enjoy drinking instead of just water. Let us all show our gratitude and appreciation for all and be happy with what we have for now.

  2. Far from a crisis!
How do you think overdramatizing a relatively minor supply issue for a publicly-traded company makes people who experienced real crises (for all of who are wondering at the spelling of that word, crises is plural of crisis pronounced krai · seez) this year?

You reported on some of the major personal crises this year, from each of the families going through the agony of a loved one being hospitalized with COVID, to some of the really dangerous side effects of COVID (blood clots, strokes, loss of vision, etc.). And all the people who lost a relative to COVID, how do you think this makes THEM feel?

What about the people who can’t find work because of COVID, or whose businesses are still shuttered or worse, closed permanently?
There are crises out there, just not this!

  3. Now that we clearly know the dangers that soft drinks have in them, how can any sane person drink that poison. Do you know how much sugar sits in that soda can? Yes, diet soda is just as dangerous, if not worse, with aspartame and other poisons. Here is a novel idea. How about drinking water? The Jews drank that in the midbar for 40 years. Try it. You might like it. And the best part about fresh water, is that it actually quenches your thirst.

  4. Are you not ashamed of yourself, as the “voice of Torah news” to print such an article ?????

  5. OMG! You, previous commentators, are so full of cholent and kugel it’s impacting your brains. This is a lighthearted news report to give us all a bit of a break from the unfortunate news of late. Have a laugh when your feeling less full…of yourselves.

    • More on the crisis:

As news of the Dr crisis spread… Long lines can be seen forming in the local Walmarts and Targets. A limit of one-per-cust has been implemented.

May G-D help us overcome this very crisis at these troubling times.

Everyone is asked to have in mind the Dr at

      “רפאנו”

  6. The word “Crisis” was obviously tongue in cheek. Chill!!
However, what I think is a crisis, is that you have the audacity to spell Dr Pepper with a period after Dr. I see you’re unsure, as sometimes the period appears and sometimes it doesn’t. Let me educate you on a very important fact. Dr Pepper is NOT spelled with a period after Dr!!

  7. Figuratively, do not panic. Dentists will be glad the dreams keep coming.

Divinity rewards the milk lunch cup. No terrible chemistry.
