New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo asked Pfizer chief executive Albert Bourla on Monday if the state can purchase additional doses of the coronavirus vaccine directly from the company.

In a press conference Monday, Cuomo slammed the Trump administration for the slow rollout of the vaccine, which is providing doses to states.

“The problem was created by the federal negligence in the first place,” he said, according to Fox Business. “The federal government is in control of the supply. They must increase the supply. Approve Johnson & Johnson, expedite that. Buy more Pfizer. Buy more Moderna.”

He added, “As a state, we’re trying to do everything we can. Pfizer is technically not bound by any federal agreement because they did not get engaged in what the federal government called Operation Warp Speed.”

    • From YOU, the dumb gullible taxpayer! You are a worthless piece of meat. Your State Assembly is thee most corrupt in the nation. Your State Senate are full of hardened criminals. Cuomo is given a green light on whatever he desires. Enjoy.

  1. Says the one who insisted on having his own board of drs/researchers review the vaccine before it was officially approved under trump administration and further delay distribution to New Yorkers!!

  2. Why does he need more? Haven’t they already murdered enough, esp from the elderly? That hero pharmacist who destroyed hundreds of deadly vaccine vials should replace Cuomo as Governor.

  3. What changed now? Why didn’t this happen earlier? All these coincidences seem extremely strange! One thing is for certain, While trump was president he didn’t mind ordering the killing of the seniors (Hospitals like the boat and javits center were empty) while he sent covid to the nursing homes. Now that trump is getting out he is starting to take control of options that were available to him earlier as well. SHAME!
