The FBI has said that Ibragin Todashev, alleged friend of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev, was killed last week when an interrogation with agents at his Orlando home turned violent.
But Abdul-Baki Todashev, the 27-year-old’s father, insists his son was murdered “execution style.”
At a press conference in Moscow, the older Todashev displayed photos of his son’s dead body in the morgue that he said showed he was shot six times in the torso and once in the back of the head.
Three FBI agents initially said Todashev had lunged at his interrogator with a knife, but after others insisted Todashev was completely unarmed, two of them walked back that claim. Read more here.
