Mrs. Sarah Brief a”h, a daughter of the Peshvorsker Rebbe, has passed away this afternoon following a serious accident in Antwerp, Belgium, first reported here on Matzav.com last Wednesday. The accident occurred on a busy street in Antwerp, when a bus carrying children on their way home from school hit the Rebbe’s daughter. She was taken to a nearby hospital in an unconscious state and underwent surgery that night.
Those close to the Rebbe asked Yidden worldwide to daven for a refuah sheleimah for Sarah bas Chana Shlumtzah, but she succumbed to her injuries and has passed away.
The Peshvorsker Rebbe, Rav Leibish Leiser, is a son of the previous Rebbe, Rav Yaakov Leiser, and has led his kehillah for the last dozen years in Antwerp, where many visit for his brachos and counsel.
May Sarah bas Rav Leibish be a melitzas yosher for her husband and their two children.
The levaya will be held at 9:50 p.m. at the Peshvorsker Bais Medrash in Antwerp. Buses are traveling from London for the levaya and the streets surrounding the bais medrash will be closed for the levaya.
