Mayor Bill de Blasio still owed his legal defense lawyers at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel between $250,000 and $500,000 as of Dec. 31, financial disclosure forms show.

But the disclosures made public Monday suggest de Blasio hasn’t made much of a dent in paying his personal legal tab.

In a June 30 posting on Medium, the mayor put the bill at roughly $300,000, which he’s obligated to pay out of his own pocket because it was for political work unrelated to his government job. De Blasio said at the time he’d pay those bills through a legal defense fund, but he has yet to take any public steps to establish such a fund.
