New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said today that regulations implemented by former Mayor Mike Bloomberg will remain for now.
The remarks were made at a news conference in City Hall.
Dr. Mary Bassett, the new health commissioner, was present.
On metzitzah b’peh, the mayor said that there “hasn’t been the kind of dialogue necessary for common ground on this issue,” but that the current approach “can be better and that is what we are going to find a way to do.” In the meantime, said de Blasio, “the [metzitzah b’peh] forms will stay in place while we seek a better path.”

I am sure that certain pointless Jews see nothing wrong here. After all they did to elect this socialist
What’s the current status?
So the only question remaining, is, what do our “Askanim” who endorsed this fellow, have to say now?
So all those frum machers who wore big smiles at de Blasio’s inauguration need to rethink a little.
No need for “dialogue”. The facts exist: NO proof of infection from MBP; NYC Health Dept has refused to check DNA for possible transmission from siblings. Dialogue is only needed when facts are at issue. DeBlasio is pulling an Obama! Down with Louis XIV!
those who never thought in the first place , cant “re”think
