Deadly Shooting at Air Force Base

At least two people are dead in a shooting at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas on Friday morning, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office tweeted.

The base is on lockdown, and the scene was still considered active as of 10:30 a.m. ET. The sheriff’s office said “victims” have been confirmed.

Bexar County Sheriff Susan Pamerleau told the San Antonio Express News that it is not clear if there is one or more shooters at the base. Read more.

  1. Oh, stop the hysteria. It was probably just a typical “workplace” violence incident. The coffee tasted a little burnt.

  2. Does anyone but the shooter have a gun on any military base for self protection? How can any private citizen feel safe when the military cannot protect themselves? This is why maybe the citizens of the country have to learn how to protect themselves since the military cannot even take care of themselves.
